- Laser pulse propagation in nonlinear optical media: Studying the effects of nonlinearity and high-order dispersion to find optical soliton conditions. Applications in photonic crystal fibers, frequency converters, and sensors.
- Laser pulse propagation in novel materials (EIT, Fano): Controlling absorption, linear, and nonlinear dispersion based on quantum interference; optimizing all-optical switching for quantum computers.
